Care and Use Instructions for Your HatLight
OPERATION: The lens pivots up and down. The high position is OFF. The first or middle position is HIGH BEAM. The second or lowest position is LOW BEAM.
BATTERY INSTALLATION: Pull back the light module cover inside the hat. Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries folling the polarity diagram. Close cover.
CLEANING: To wash hat, remove light by holding back of fixture inside hat, then grasp the front ring and pull apart. Hand wash hat in cold water with mild soap. Air dry hat.
TROUBLESHOOTING: First make sure the batteries fit snugly. The top connections may be adjusted by bending gently with finger. The internal lamp connections may be adjusted by gently inserting a paperclip into the two pinhopes on the back of the fixture and pushing the elements forward.
